By downloading or using the Rakt Bharat application/website, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

1. The Nature of the Platform

Rakt Bharat is a technological intermediary designed to connect voluntary blood donors with patients/recipients.

• We are NOT a blood bank or a medical institution.
• We do not conduct medical testing on donors.
• We do not guarantee the quality or compatibility of the blood.

2. Prohibition of Commercialization (No Broking)

Any user found demanding money, acting as a "Blood Broker," or exploiting patients will be immediately banned from the platform, and their details may be reported to the relevant authorities under the National Blood Transfusion Council guidelines.

3. Eligibility to Donate

By registering as a donor, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You do not have any communicable diseases that can be transmitted via blood.
• You are providing accurate information regarding your health status.

4. User Responsibilities

Recipients: It is the responsibility of the recipient and the hospital to verify the donor's identity and medical eligibility before transfusion.

Donors: You agree to withdraw your donation offer if your health status changes or if you have engaged in high-risk behavior recently.

5. Limitation of Liability

Rakt Bharat, its developers (Hypervare), and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the service or the conduct of any user (donor or recipient) on the platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
